Hanna Rochereau

Hanna Rocherau (Paris, 1995) is a French artist living and working in Marseille. After earning her Master in Visual Arts from ECAL Lausanne in 2020 as part of the European Art Ensemble, she has developed a practice that moves between painting and installation, interrogating the systems that stage and turn desire into a commodity. Drawing on motifs such as display cases from the arts or theater, storage space, and packaging from the fashion industry, her work investigates how absence, temptation and value are produced within both exhibition and consumer contexts.

In 2026, her work was presented in a solo exhibition at Mare Karina, in Venice, (Italy) and at Paulina Caspari, Munich (Germany). In 2025, she held a solo show within the Hauser & Wirth Invite(s) programme in Paris, and completed residencies at Villa Belleville (Paris) and the Collection Lambert (Avignon). Her work has been exhibited extensively across Europe, including at sans titre (Paris, 2025), Lo Brutto Stahl (Paris, 2025), Paulina Caspari (Munich, 2025), Astor Weeks (New York, 2025), Basel Social Club (Basel, 2025), Carlotta S.
